- have lived in San Francisco, CA; Eugene, OR; and Portland, OR
- earned a B.A. in English at the ripe age of 40 (with high honors)
- have a motorcycle license
- drive a Smart car & ride a Vespa
- earned a diploma in fashion merchandising
- hate mushrooms
- have never eaten an omelet, a lobster, or sushi
- have never used a dishwasher (except to store recyclables)
- officiated three weddings (yes, all three couples are still together)
- love elephants & French bulldogs (all creatures, really)
